I wanted to send along a picture of the first bento I made in my new Kyo Bento. Here's a description of the contents:
Top Tier: Rolled corn tortillas, tied with a bit of corn husk. In the smaller compartments there is sangria fruit salad, and seafood-free avocado ceviche.
Bottom Tier: Cilantro-lime rice, shredded chicken seasoned with posole seasoning, and re-fried black beans seasoned with cumin and chili powder and topped with grated cotija cheese and a small dollop of crème fraiche.
I also wanted to let you know how much I love this box and how beautiful it is. The grain of the wood practically glows, and the craftsmanship is very apparent! I'm going to cherish this box for quite some time.
